Brooklin Models  BRK 31A -  1953 Pontiac Van Mobiloil

The Brooklin Models BRK 31A 1953 Pontiac Van Mobiloil is a beautifully crafted 1:43 scale white-metal replica of one of America's most distinctive post-war commercial vehicles. Produced in 1992 as the second standard edition of Brooklin's popular 1953 Pontiac Sedan Delivery series, this model faithfully represents a service vehicle used by "Socony-Vacuum Oil Company", featuring the iconic "Mobiloil" advertising livery.

Finished in crisp white with a striking red sun visor and matching red interior, the model is decorated with authentic red, white, and blue Mobiloil graphics. The famous Mobil Pegasus emblem and period-correct "Socony-Vacuum Oil Co. Inc." lettering on the front fenders perfectly capture the appearance of a genuine 1950s fuel company service vehicle. Wide whitewall tyres, finely reproduced chrome trim, and Brooklin's hand-finished craftsmanship complete the classic look.

As with all early Brooklin Models, the BRK 31A is made from high-quality white metal and assembled by hand, giving each example its own individual character. The combination of excellent proportions, finely applied decals, and historical accuracy makes this model highly desirable among collectors of American commercial vehicles and vintage advertising memorabilia.

Brooklin Models  BRK 189 -  1954 Buick Special Four-Door Sedan

The 1:43 scale 1954 Buick Special Four-Door Sedan from Brooklin Models is a fine example of classic American automotive elegance captured in White metal. Finished in an attractive Malibu Blue and Artic White two-tone livery, the model reflects the optimistic styling and solid presence that defined Buick in the early 1950s.

Brooklin Models is renowned for its hand-built white-metal miniatures, and this Buick Special is no exception. The proportions are accurate, the body lines are crisp, and the chrome details—such as the distinctive Buick grille, bumpers, and side trim—are carefully reproduced. The paint finish is smooth and deep, giving the model a premium, collector-grade appearance.

As with most Brooklin Models releases, the focus is on exterior authenticity rather than opening parts. This approach highlights the timeless design of the four-door sedan, a car that represented comfort, reliability, and understated luxury in post-war America.

1960 Lincoln Continental Mk V Convertible by Brooklin Models

Brooklin Models BRK 57 - 1960 Lincoln Continental Mk V Convertible

The 1960 Lincoln Continental Mark V was a luxury car that embodied the bold and extravagant design philosophy of the late 1950s and early 1960s. As the final model year of the third-generation Continental (1958-1960), the Mark V was the last of the "big-body" Lincolns before a major downsizing in 1961.

The 1960 Continental Mark V was notable for its massive dimensions—one of the largest unibody cars ever produced. It featured a sleek, squared-off design with a bold, upright grille and prominent tailfins, which were toned down slightly from previous years.

The standard Brooklin Model 1960 Lincoln Continental Mark V Convertible (BRK57) was released in March 1996 and deleted in 2009. It is finished in polaris white with cream/red interior, yellow license plate and whitewall tyres. For the last batch the body of the anniversary version was used with a different shade of white. This model has separate chrome door handles and narrow whitewall tyres. The chrome behind the rear seats is a little smaller and the two white parts on each side are separated and not cast with the body. Extravagant chrome trim, giving it a distinct luxury appearance.

1960 Cadillac Series 62 Six Window Sedan by Brooklin Models

Brooklin Models BRK 189 - 1960 Cadillac Series 62 Six Window Sedan

The model replicates the striking and distinctive design of the 1960 Cadillac Series 62, with its vast, sweeping lines, large tail fins, and massive chrome bumpers. From the moment you glance at it, the model exudes the same presence as the full-size car, with its polished chrome accents and smooth, flowing contours.

The tailfins are one of the most prominent features of the real 1960 Cadillac, and Brooklin has carefully recreated these with precision. The rear end of the model features the signature vertical stabilizer fins, highlighted by the detailed tail lights and twin bullet-style rear lamps, which are carefully painted and finished to match the look of the original. The chrome trim that runs along the sides of the vehicle is finely executed, reflecting the meticulous craftsmanship that Brooklin is known for.

The front of the car captures the wide, imposing grille, flanked by quad headlights, which gives the model its characteristic Cadillac face. The headlights are individually detailed, and the grille is finely replicated, with the classic Cadillac emblem proudly displayed in the center. The large chrome bumpers are also sculpted to perfection, giving the car a sense of weight and luxury.
One of the standout features of the Brooklin Models BRK 189 Cadillac is the level of interior detail. While the interior is not as visible on a 1:43 scale model as it would be in real life, Brooklin still manages to convey the luxurious atmosphere of the 1960 Cadillac's cabin. The dashboard, seats, and even the steering wheel are intricately molded, painted, and finished to reflect the quality materials and opulent design found in the full-size vehicle.
The finish of the model is immaculate, with the paintwork being smooth and glossy,  in classic Cadillac colors like pastel blues, whites, and metallics, capturing the luxury car’s elegant appearance. The overall fit and finish of the model are superb, with parts fitting tightly together, and the model has a polished look that stands out in any collection.
Whether you're a dedicated Cadillac enthusiast, a model car collector, or simply someone who appreciates automotive history, the BRK 189 is a model that will undoubtedly be a prized addition to any collection.
